  1. I want to convert a TS file to AVI and I search for a good video converter.
Tried xvid4psp latest version but no luck. Handbrake does not have AVI output. AutoGK has no video $ audio settings.
    Any ideas?

Try WinAVI Video Converter. It converts from almost any format to any format with very good results and it is very, very fast.

Xvid4psp 5.xx? What happens? Can't open the ts?

You can also try the new video to video converter or xmedia recode, winff, freemake video converter(ADWARE). All based on ffmpeg.

I need some advanced options (ar, bitrate for audio and video, 2 pass, etc)
Also, this program is not free.

Xvid4psp just stop working after few minutes.

Now I try Xmedia, I hope will do the job.

These options are also included in the program.
You are right, is not free, but you did not mention it as an option.
I suggest you to try it before judgeing it out.

  6. Hybrid might be worth a try, if you want the output video stream to be encoded with Xvid.

Did you know that AutoGK has a lot of hidden options? Once the source file (video TS) loaded you do activate those hidden options by pressing 'ctrl + F9'.
