  1. I have an analog TV with an RF converter. Can I route my Blu-Ray player through the converter and watch it on the TV?

Which (model) player... and likewise, TV? What are all the connections you have on both?

Keep in mind that the industry is in the process of removing all analog connections from Blu-Ray players (and TVs, etc. ), so it might well be impossible.

If by "RF converter" you mean that you have an RF modulator that accepts composite video plus analog stereo input and outputs a signal via a coax connection on analog channel 3 or channel 4, then the answer is yes, if you have a Blu-Ray player with composite video plus analog stereo connections. However, there have been some recent Blu-ray players that don't provide any analog connections, in which case an RF modulator wouldn't work.

  4. I have an LG model# BP125. It has both an hdmi and a single rca ("coaxial out"). I have seen, online, cables with hdmi to rca. Will that work? To clarify: My blu-ray has single rca and single hdmi, if I obtain a cable (hdmi to rca) and connect to my rf converter/modulator, will I be able to view my blu-ray? Or should I just give the blu-ray to my brother to go with his new TV?(LOL) Additionally, does the single coaxial out(rca port) carry just audio or does it compile both video and audio? Hope I have explained it well.

The only video connection on the BP125 is HDMI. The coaxial connection is not for video at all. It is a digital audio connection. There is no cable that can convert from HDMI to RF. You would need an RF modulator plus a converter like this one: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011411&p_id=...seq=1&format=2

...or return the BP125 and put the credit towards a LG BP220, or some other Blu-Ray player which does have the RCA composite video out and RCA analog stereo out connections needed to work with an RF modulator.

  7. The following url shows a cable (hdmi to rca) I might buy to try. I know the cable doesn't convert the signal, only the connection to the converter. Take a look at the pic and tell me what you think. Right now, the $$ are not available for TV upgrade; BRD player was a gift.

There may be some device that uses the same physical type of connection as HDMI to send or receive various forms of analog video and/or audio, but a Blu-ray player sends a purely digital signal over HDMI. An RF modulator wouldn't know what to do with anything digital. They are made to accept an analog composite video signal plus an analog stereo audio signal. That cable is an absolute waste of money in your case. Read the user reviews at Newegg.
