Hello, I have a new sony hdr cx-210 and it creates movies with the format mts. Is that a good format? Should I convert them to avi? Which one is better?
Thank you.

Ideally, you want to avoid any converting or re-encoding, unless absolutely necessary, to avoid any loss of quality. Why would you want to convert the videos to AVI?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
