I need to pass some re-encoded videos through VirtualDub in batch mode. But so far, despite setting video and audio to direct stream copy before loading vids into via the batch wizard (FILE > QUEUE BATCH OPERATION > BATCH WIZARD...) it doesn't seem to control what goes on within batch mode itself and VD processes those files in full processing mode which blows up the AVIs in size and takes forever to do, to boot.
Is there a way to get VD to batch process by just direct stream copy? I've been googling for a few days looking for this nothing comes up dealing with this issue.
Thanks!

Run VirtualDub
File > Save processing settings
Give the file a name.
Exit
Assume all the source videos are in the same folder.
Create an new destination folder
Run VirtualDub
File > Load processing settings (select the vcf/vdscript file).
File > Job control
(In the Job Control window) Edit > Process directory
Select the folder containing the source videos then select the new destination folder.
The files to be processed should appear in the Job Controlwindow; remove any you don't want to process.
Start.
Note;apart from changing the frame rate, I don't think you can do much in 'Direct Stream' .
