direct stream copy of a mkv file Q

I have a bunch of files that have been encoded in a same way as this file hire:

Link to the small preview fiile!

And I would like to cut the crap out. So I tried to do this in virtualdub but it said that the videos are using unrecognized algorithm & it cant direct stream copy it.

Is there any other software I can use to cut those files?

AVIDeMux is worth a try. It only cuts on 'I' frames though.

this program was able to do it, but it said the video is usion B frames as a referance so I cant use this program.

MKVMerge can make cuts, but it doesn't support preview or real-time editting.

It asks you if you want to use a certain mode at the beginning dialog, say yes.

There is no frame accurate h.264 editor. If you want frame accuracy, you will have to re-encode or at least reconstruct the GOP and append manually

Alternatively, one can convert (not re-encode) to AVI with AVC2AVI and proceed to do frame accurate editting with VirtualDub. If B-pyramid is used, it will delay by however number of B-frames in the beginning, so audio must be adjusted, or completely avoid B-pyramid.
