  1. My finished mpeg2 file that I encoded from a divx file is about 200-250 milliseconds slower than the video. Is there a way in TMPGENC to edit the audio in the mpeg2 file and delay it 200ms just like the way I do with avi's in Virtual Dub and then just save it as another mpeg2 file? I don't want to fix the avi b/c that would mean converting it again to mpeg2 [takes me forever]. Thanks for the help, if any.

demux in tmpge then extract the wav from the avi in v dub then convert it to mp2 with v dub then mux the mp2 and the mpv(that you got when you demuxed in tmpge) that usualy works for me and the process is pretty quick

  4. compound, i completely understand the demuxing and muxing part but what can I use after I demux the sound file so that it has 200th/sec cut off the beginning of the movie so the end result is perfectly synched. If I just simply use the same audio, Im pretty sure when I mux it together, it'll be 200th/sec out of sync. Am I able to use a sound editing program to delete the first 200th/sec from the sound file and demux it from there? What are your recommendations.

I can live with a 200th/sec delay but what if a similar situations arises and it's more like 1 or 2 seconds, it become unbearable for me, like a godzilla movie. heheh
