Howdy I've been ripping dvds to vcd and svcd for a while using numerous tools. Well recently I ripped a movie..the source was interlaced and I created a d2v file with dvd2avi Then loaded the project file and audio into tmpge 2.53.35.130
And encoding stops within half way...I'm getting a error with the vfp codec..or something like that when trying to create a vcd..this never happened with previous versions of tmpge and I would like to know if this is a first time anyone seen a error like this or not...It has been happening only when I create d2v files with dvd2 avi 176
Anyone know a way around this or something? I checked older posts and could not find a topic or a resolution of this matter...Help
On a side note I ripped the movie with xmpeg once I noticed I kept failing with dvd2avi and tmpge...But I like using dvd2 avi and prefer it over xmpeg so help would be appreciated

in dvd2avi->help-> is VFAPI plug-in checked?
u need this to be checked, otherwise, tmpgenc won't recognize the .d2v file
also, since your source was interlaced, you shouldn't use FORCED FILM in dvd2avi if u did... -
Yeah its checked I know that much
and I did'nt use forced film
The problem is not with the d2v file being recognized its tmpge reporting a error in the vfp when half way encoding -
DVD2AVI 1.76? as far a i know this version is still in beta... Try using 1.74.
