Hi there, I've tried my best at Avisynth to correct some noise on DV captures that I have but I haven't had much luck yet.
The chroma noise is the main problem, although I have no problems with the luma noise. Can anyone help me with this sample clip, mainly the chroma noise and rainbowing. Thank you.

EDIT: description of video: ridiculous amounts of chroma noise throughout (blue noise), the colours in general are off-key. Some rainbowing too I'd wager.

You can use Cnr2 in avisynth MCTemporaldenoise and others can pretty much suppress chroma noise.
I dont have much time now but I used Neatvideo on your sample and came up nice i guess ( default settings with luma 50 instead of 60) in sony vegas didn't do any color correction( you should ) just denoise.
The sample is DV zipped in rar to make it smaller and upload directly on our site
