    Hello
I have 2 videos in mkv format that i want to join using mkv merge but when loaded it tells me the two videos dont have the same audio track, upon inspecting with mediainfo i saw that both audio tracks were the same in almost all aspects and couldnt find the fault so i finally decided to look for a converter to encode the audio track to match the 1st video or do them both. I need someone to suggest to me a converter that will convert only the audio track and leave the video track intact as i dont want to lose the perfect quality. I've trird any video converter and autox264 and didnt get good results, any help appreciated.

You could try join with avidemux first, open mkv, append the mkv, under video and audio choose copy, save as new mkv.

If it also fails then give up.......or try use popcorn mkv audio converter to just reconvert the audio in the mkv.
