I really want to download the stream of the track and field events from the BBC site. I am not computer savvy, so if someone could help me out I would be delighted.

Free method - read the thread here but honestly if you aren't "computer savvy" it will probably be like the entire thread is in a language you never studied:

Not free but maybe easier for you method - You could buy a product like Replay Video Capture and use that. This method is not downloading but recording in real time.
