  1. I have this one asf file I can't seem to convert with TMPEG. It makes it about a third of the way through then locks up. I tried fixing it using all asfindexergui and asftools, but to no avail. Does anyone know any way to fix this?

    Thanks,

  2. ok, i had the same problem but tried using Virtualdub13c ( since the other versions after that do not support .asf ) to fix that problem.

    Heres how i did it.

    start Virtualdub.
    Open your video.
    Select under Audio->Full processing mode.
    (To convert to mp3 audio or any other format select Audio->Compression and select MPEG Layer 3).
    Save the wav by clicking on Save WAV...the wav will be a huge audio file.
    now load that up to TmpgEnc and try it out.
