i Connected my dv-cam (old jvc mini-dv) through firewire

captured with WinDv (my Ffdshow icone came up but i guess it was for the preview)

so i made myself a good avi (dv-type 2) and feed it to virtualdub
(i had to take the audio out for processing)

in Virtualdub the cedocida dv codec came up as decompressor
(i will fastrecompress with Huffy or Ffdshow huffy !?) kept it YUY2 all the way through

.. Does that mean that i don't have to use reinterpolate411() or even FixBrokenChromaUpsampling() ??
(the file doesn't really need further processing)

is it only for old dv codecs ?? and Cedocida doesn't really need it ??

i also have dv (same cam) captured with dvd-recorder (panasonic , i think)
Does Chroma errors happen with Dv to dvd-recorder? usefull script for this ?

I just want to make shure i do it the best way , and hopefully keep things simple
