Can anyone help,,,I downloaded Ocean Eleven screener AVI and tried to convert it to vcd with Tmpge, but it was not supported,,so tried v-dub, not supported ,i went to the files properties, its a DV file with audio bit rate of 384kbps ,48000Hz ,with no format discription ,its to good a film to loose,,is this something to do with screener ,,,thanx all

It's not a DV .avi. If it were, the size of it would be about 20gb.
Just convert the audio to 44khz and you should be fine. -
thanx for the reply tiny,,tried that,,i`ve ran vdub, full processing mode, compression, mpg layer-3, plus all other compressions, conversion 44100Hz and save wave, vdub always comes up with the same error,,,,,(The requested audio compression is not compatible with the input format .Check that the sample rate and channel count of the input match those of requested format) but vdub does`nt support 384kbps,
