    I downloaded a mpeg today and tried to create a VCD with Nero. I ran into a weird problem. Nero comes up with a error and say the following.

    file is invalid, need mpeg1 which was encoded for Video CD

    I then tried to use TMPGEnc to convert it from MPEG1 320X240 30fps to MPEG1 352X240 29.97fps and that froze. I tried it a few more times and nothing worked.

    Does anyone have a idea I what I could do?

    did you try frameserving from virtual dub

    ive had that problem, found if you use the wizard dont adjust any settings change the output name and bingo .......maby
