  1. My avchd video(cooking shows) were copied (hddvr) @ a bit rate of 5.0 mb about 300 shows
    all my new shows are @ 2.0mb
    I can record about 40 to 42 shows on a bd single layer @ this rate

    i would like to convert the other 300 to the same rate none of my software can do this

    AVCHD is a camcorder format. Please explain. Then post Mediainfo text for a typical file.

  3. when im done downloding and check properties it calls it avchd .m2ts

  4. Im using total media extreme to burn bluray this is the format there in and the play on bluray players

    You could try shrink the m2ts video with avchdcoder or bdtoavchd. Or can't you shrink/reconvert with total media extreme?

  6. i use tme to download my live dish shows to my computer then burn them @ sd quality on bluray to be archived and watch on tv later
