Hi,
I have an ATI ALL-in-wonder RADEON agp card...
Whenever i go to virtualdub, adobe premiere, etc.. to capture from TV, it always tunes back to channel 4, no matter what. No matter which channel I choose, after i leave the settings it goes back to channel 4. It's drivin me nuts!!
Only ATI's TV software lets me capture anything else.. Please help!

Are you saying that you can change the channel and record, but whenever you restart the program(s) their always back to channel 4?
If so, that's the least of a video problem that you can have. Schedule everything 1 minute ahead of what you presently do. I know it sounds silly, but I guarantee you'll be able to live with it better.
Right now DVD Movie Factory always starts up on the first channel I set it to. I find it far less annoying then having to reset the recording directory and the capture size everytime;however, I wouldn't trade it for anything as far as a clean cut & paste. BTW, which I've never been able to get TMPG Encoder to do, "cut exactly on my mark. " -
Hi,
No, i can only record on channel 4. I am not able to record any other channel. As soon as I change the channel number and click 'OK' or 'apply', the display changes back to channel 4. I've noted that this problem started occuring as soon as I upgraded to Windows XP...I didnt have the problem before.
Thanks
Sarmad.
