    yes so i have a hp F4180 and i the black wont show good after a refill cause it is saying it is empty, so can i reset it without buying anything?

    Having said that I'd recommend just getting a laser printer next time. I have a fairly old early 90's one that I still use and works fine. I bought a bottle of toner refill at Dealextreme.com for $7 and only used half of that so far.
