HP deskjet printer f2275 ink cartridge problem

Hi everyone im Rod,
i brought a HP deskjet all in one printer f2275.
i just refilled the ink cartridges and to get them to show full they said to place a piece of tape over the blue tumanals and put it back in the printer and let it print an aliment page.

well when i did that it come up with a thing that said incorrect cartridge in printer so i took it out again and took the tape off it and cleaned it and put it back in it now tells me its the incorrect cartridge no matter how man y times i pull it out and put it back in is there any way of reseting this so it will work again properly its doing my head in thanks.

More and More printer makers are incorporating technology that makes them choke on anything other original cartridges, new ones.

My Epson R340 often has to be turned off and on to work with generic ink cartridges.

Do a google search for your model number and generic ink problems.

I wish we could invest in this magical printer ink. It has more value than gold or silver.

Let me get this straight. You searched the net for answers to a problem caused by trying to refill your printer cartridges, found a site called VIDEOhelp, and thought this was the best place to get your question answered ? Yes, we do have a general computing forum (which you failed to post in, by the way), and we will give most things a go, but to be disappointed because your printing question could not be answered in a specialist video forum seems a bit rich.

I also think the ink refill/cheap generic cartridge thing is as much a scam as the legitimate cartridge business. The weird and wonderful colours I have seen coming out of these cartridges and refill kits, the number of blocked print heads and the low number prints makes it a very false economy.
