  1. I am trying to convert an mkv file so that I can burn it to Blu-Ray but everytime I run AVCHD it crashes. I have converted loads of mkv files before and have encountered this a couple of times, last time I didn't bother with the conversion but I would like to get to the bottom of why muxer keeps crashing. Below is the log file,

Probably easiest to try another mkv to avchd converter, https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/all-in-one-mkv-to-mp4-avchd-ts

  3. I get the same error for only one of my .mkv movie files. I end up looking at the output folder and in it is only the log and BDMV but nothing inside it. It's like as if it encoded and then *POOF* it's now gone. I think it has something to do with VC-1 remux .mkv files. I never had problems with x264,XviD, and H264.

I'm also wondering if this is a VC-1 issue as SoberWarlock suggested. VC-1 gives a lot of bluray type programs fits. If it's interlaced VC-1 (it does seem here that at least your video is not interlaced) it's just about game over for everything that tries to process it.

Do you have a D drive on your PC? I find this reference in the output above to D to be a potential trouble spot if that does not actually exist.

I do have a D:/ drive that I keep my personal files and C:/ drive for mainly OS and installed programs. I do set my output folder on C:/ Desktop though for multiAVCHD. Are you saying I should try and set my output folder on another HDD?
