  1. Here is the situation.

I obtained about 300-350 avi(xvid) videos which resolution is 720x576.
However aspect ratio is 5/4 and is WRONG and should be 4/3.

So I see two solutions to correct it:

    1) In VirtualDub resize them to proper 4/3 aspect ratio so 720x540 resolution. This requires Full Processing mode and about ~1h per one video (single pass) but I can queue jobs and run them when I want.

    2) Load each video in MPEG4 Modifier and change aspect ratio to 4/3. This requires no conversion but no queue is available (emailed the author of the program about possible update but no answer)

Which solution is BETTER ? Or maybe you come up with another?

MPEG4Modifier. Check and see if there's a CLI option, as you could script a batch file to take care of them altogether...

There is a command line version with an example for batch conversion.

  4. I concur, MPEG4Modifier will do the job nicely.
