FAVC problem

Hi, I have tried FAVC to convert some 720p mkv tv episodes into a dvd recently and everything seemed to go well. Video quality was excellent but I ran into a problem with the audio.
The "previously on .." bit before the opening titles roll which is not in DD 5.1 is fine but when the titles start on the episode when the sound goes to 5.1 it plays as if it's been slowed down a hell of a lot.
Anyone know why this is and how I could remedy it ?

Try AVStoDVD instead. FAVC hasn't been updated in years.
