    Hi;

    I have just found this program for converting my mkv files to dvd in your forum. I have did every wroten in the forum but it is still do not working. It gives this error

    "FAVC is unable to process the following files:
    avi
    Generally this problem occurs when the correct version of Avisynth is not
    installed (v2.56a or Greater),
    or the corresponding codec is not installed.
    Alternative approaches include creating an Avisynth script yourself and opening
    it in FAVC,
    or frameserving from VirtualDub to FAVC. "

    In the forum there are some topics about this problem but they don't solve my problem.

    I am using Windows 7 64 bit

    I installed the lates version of Avisynth, also installed FAVC 64 bit. My operation system has the lates version of frameworks. I am using K-lite 64 bit codec pack (the lates version).

    I have no idea what to do.

    Thank you for your help.

    Check so avisynth actually works, like https://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/favc-is-unable-to-process-the-following-error-t360810.html

    Or try something else to convert your mkv to dvd like the free DVD FLick.

  3. Dear Tolga,

    I have seen that you open this thead in 2009. I bet you gave up searching why it happens. Today the same thing happened to me. I later understood that the problem occurred because of Turkish letters in the file. When I rename it without Turkish characters FAVC started to work. I am writing this message for the other Turk people who would get the same error in the future.
