  1. Hi, I just had a major video presentation go crazy on me. I am in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. I think it's an easy fix, but I lack the expertise. I am presenting this at my college tomorrow night, Friday, 11/04. If interested, please contact me here or at charmedlife417@gmail.com and send me your phone number. It is now Thursday eve 11/03 6:00 PM.

I don't think I'd work for cheaper than $500 on such short notice.
    And with so few details.

Yeah, I remember earlier threads from this English teacher. I think he/she (I'm leaning toward "she") wanted to assemble some clips from several DVD sources (I think they were Woody Allen movies, or something like that) and play them in a single presentation with title graphics in between. Several of us recommended Womble MPEG Video Wizard DVD, as it could do the edits without re-encoding the original video, plus do titles, and then finish out the work on a DVD-compliant file that could be burned to disc. But, as I recall, the OP vacillated and hemmed and hawed for 6 weeks; too stubborn to step out of her comfort zone and learn how to use some relatively easy software. Now it is too late.

I cannot say I feel sorry for this person.

Shoot, for the right price (and assuming it's not too difficult or exhaustive an assignment), I would have done this. Probably best to do a Logmein remote control or something like that, otherwise you'd have to ftp the source files which could take quite a while.

However, I'm busy from yesterday through this whole weekend, so that's out...
