    why does video do this on my computer? it gets choppy with black boxes and pixelation. it does this even if I download the file. all video types. mpg4, flash...etc


    anyone?

    Maybe a video overlay/graphic card acceleration problem. So try disable it, in for example in your browser right click on the video and choose settings, deselect enable hardware acceleration(only for flash video).

    Well. Hardware acceleration should work and it will help optimize the performance, especially for hd video. Updating the video card driver might help.
