  1. I am using dvd flick and img burn to extract and convert a 4500 mb mkv to dvd. Even when I specify that the iso should be under 4300 mb so I can burn it, it always ends up being over. I also always get prompted to create a layerbreak.

    Probably easiest to try something else, like AVStoDVD. DVD Flick doesn't seem to be developed any longer.

    Do as you are doing then run the DVD files through DVDShrink. You'll get the size you want. It's an oldie but a goldie.
