Hi i am trying to burn in the soft subs into hard subs using virtualdubmod.. But the program crashes whenever i try to open a mkv file.. any other way around it??
Or is there a program which can burn in the hard subs while converting it to mp4 for my itouch??

	indeed use virtualdub instead and use the mkv import filter. this allows to open/import mkv files in virtualdub 
- 
	VirtualDubMod's MKV support is very outdated -- based on very early versions of the spec. Don't count on it opening any MKV files but those it made itself. 
- 
	Virtualdubmod doesn't support the fcchandler mkv plugin. 
 starting at virtualdub version 1.8.1 and higher.
