    I bought Apples QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component for Windows and also installed http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html and it seems to be working well chopping up my m2v files.


    note: what I want is zero re-compression if possible, I just want to chop up my footage and export small clips with the least amount of impact on the quality as possible.


    what i did so far was set the in and out point and then chose "demux to m2v" . the result look like its perfect but am i doing something wrong? is there a better way?
