    I did my convertion to get the 2 files; .m1v and the .mp2.

    My question is: when im loading the 2 files in tmpgenc to encode them in vcd format (vcd template) , do the mp2 is re-encode or is it just multiplex with the video?

    i'd say it was re-encoded. encode video seperately & manually multiplex afterwards
