Difference between ac3 and acc

hi all wonder if i can a response please on peoples opions which is the better ac3 or acc i recently downloaded few films that have mp4 acc and mkv ac3 and i have xmedia recode now would it be best to keep the files as they are or convert them to ac3 or acc both sound the same to me i play the films through me usb into the HD t.v peoples opions would be nice thanks all

AAC compress a bit better than AC3. Both are lossy so conversion does not make any sense as it degrades audio quality.
