  1. Hello folks!

I'm currently working on a new version of this video:

This time the view of 16 different player will be shown, not only 3 as in the video above.
    I'm recording with FRAPS at 1600 x 900 @ 30 fps. 16 x 12 minutes of video @ 30 MB/s.
Well, that's a lot of data and somehow I think it's going to be very annoying to work with on my Dual Core PC.

From Final Cut Pro I remember that awesome Photo-JPEG Quicktime Movie format I always used to work with. Unfortunately such an alternative to almost uncompressed video (FRAPS) doesn't seem to exist for Sony Vegas. Sony Vegas is incapable of reading any decent format I'm able to convert my FRAPS files to with Media Coder. However, I noticed that Sony Vegas is actually able to read h.264 FLV or MPEG-4, just a very specific xyz-blablabla certificated version of it. For instance it works to import downloaded h.264 flash video from youtube, it also works to import MPEG-4 video converted with default settings with a ffmpeg plugin from the game.

My question is basically: how can I convert my FRAPS files into these few very specific formats with very specific settings Sony Vegas is capable of working with?

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers,

Nothing. Only config FFDSHOW to open FRAPS files. Will work on SV9.
