  1. Hi. I've just edited an mgp file using avidemux. It spotted that it was mpg and asked if I wanted to index it - I said yes. I set Video and Audio to 'copy' and Format to MPEG-TS (A+V) and off I went. I was surprised to see my 320x240 mpg is now a 720x480 mpg. Not that I'm bothered by that. Quite pleased actually.

    But can anyone satisfy my curiosity as to WHY the dimensions were increased by avidemux?

    What says it's 720x480? Try use mediainfo and see what it says.

  3. Mmm, interesting - it IS still 320x240. It's Windows that's telling me different. 720x480 is shown when I single click the icon. Strange, but nevermind...
