My DVP5990 has stopped playing regular dvd's. When I put a disk in it says "loading" and after a minute it will come up on the screen saying "DVD" but the led display on the player still says "loading" and it will not respond to any button on the remote. If I eject the disk I can get into the setup menu. I have tried cleaning the lense and reverting it back to "Default" in the setup menu. It was working fine the other day but since I have had this player I have had it freeze up, or refuse to play disks several times and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work.
The firmware is: 37.08.51.31
It is connected via HDMI to a Vizio LCD TV
