    hello everyone,

sorry if this has been asked over and over i didn't see anything that really fit my delema.

anyways i've gotten a few files (a combination of mkv, ts, and mp4) that are too big for a standard dvd. i don't want to really splut them with dvdfab or anything like that as its hard enough to justify using a full dvd for 1 tv episode.

i'd prefer to keep all the same aspects of the video in terms of video size, framerate, etc. i would be open on the 1080 files to downconvert them to 720.

some just are slightly over sized by a hundred megs or so and some need to be reduced by a gig. most of all the mkv's or 720 files i get are great quality and msot tv eps are 1.09gigs for a hour tv show, so i'd think i could obtain the same quality even if i had to reduce the file size by a gig if the final size is still well well over that amount.

i'm just having a hard time finding a program that will do this,

again i'd really perfer to keep the same format, mvk, ts, etc.

    i'm using win 7 64bit 8gigs of ram, 2600k cpu overclocked to 4.3gihz.

    any idea's would be appreciated.

Most good converters can do this like handbrake, xmedia recode, uncropmkv(for mkvs), freemake video converter. Adjust the output file size or the video/audio bitrate to lower the size.

But WHY? It will take several hours and you will lose quality.
