Hi all,
we want to move to the above video standard, in order to be more compliant with other partners we work with.
My collegues use Adobe Suite (CS5)... well they can easily export in XDCAM HD, but happens a weird thing. Video exported takes no less than 8 mono audio channels, which is quite annoying 'cause when importing it needs to conform all the tracks even if they are empty.
But the most annoying things is that when you import mono tracks Premiere defaults mix them into L+R tracks... So your original left mono track will be routed in both L and R, same story for R...
We need to manually panpot them every clip we import. Clear enough?
Any suggestion?
