Divx too dark

Why is my DivX dark? I tried changing the brightness from the decoder but it gives a run32dll error. And in windows Media player i cant go to properties and do anything cause i dont have the advance tab they speak of... Any help?

In media player select view then now playing tools then select equalizer and settings. Then turn up the brightness.

What you have to do is in tmpgnc under the advance tab select simple color you will see a brightness tab for you picture. Also you will notice a scroll bar so you can advance you movie to where you want then slide the brightness bar to where you want. Make sure the box in simple color is checked. To open simple color just double click.
