  1. I've used various software to convert the file to different sounds types but it's always out of sync.

    I tried burning the file onto DVD, and that was out of Sync also.

    I've watched the film on the PC and the audio is fine, it's just on the PS3 that it does't work. I'm pretty bummed because I want to watch it with my family.

    Any advice on how to get it to work? Avidemux just isn't working.

    Try reprocesssing the audio using virtualdub. Set the video to "direct stream copy" and audio to "full processing mode" and see if that fixes it. Else you might try running the file through divfix and check test that first.

    The video can be a factor (variable frame rate), shows up in various formats.
    The Audio can be a factor, eg. VBR mp3.

    Usd mediainfo to see what format the source is.
