I have a video sample that is on a hosting website of what i am trying to do. It can be shoes, like in the video, or it can be anything. Just need info on how to produce a video like this, where i input photos, and they are shown very rapidly, one after the other. Here is the link of the 10 second video..

Thanks in advance for any advice on how to produce this type of video.

  2. You can do it with virtually any editor (e.g. premiere pro, sony vegas)

or with vdub or avisynth using imagesource()

This video is 15fps , but each image is duplicated 2x

in case some of the suites mentioned have that feature, its called stop-motion.

in that shoes example, the person could have done slightely better if he/she used the timer on the camera and snapped a new shoe every 5 seconds or however long it takes to replace scene with new shoe. that would have eliminated the camera shakes or floor movement you see.

So when using vdub, i set the frame rate at 15? I can use one of those .jpg to .avi software titles, right?

Thanks for your help so far!!

Here is a screenshot of a piece of software that does .jpg to video called Image to Avi, version 1.0.0.5. What would be the ideal parameters to put in each field? Thanks!

  6. vdub can open up sequentially numbered images directly

    image001.jpg
    image002.jpg
    ...

if you want it similar to that video, you have to duplicate each image (i.e. image1 & image2 are the same, image3 & image4 are the same, etc....) then set the fps in vdub to 15

for that software , repeat each image 2x . For the dimensions, enter whatever your video size is going to be. That video was 320x240 . But you have to pay attention to aspect ratio, or things will be distorted . I don't know if that program resizes correctly preserving AR, or crops to the final dimension. Just do some short tests and you'll figure it out
