Hi All
This doesn't seem difficult, but I'm unexperienced.
Have a VIDEO_TS folder on my drive. I want to trim the first 50s of the film it contains. I also want to encode it as Xvid.
How should I go about this? Was going to use ffmpegx to convert to Xvid, but I'm not sure and when and how to trim.
Anyone know the best way...
thanks

Use avidemux or mpeg streamclip, open first vob, set start and stop, save as avi or mp4 with xvid.

Thanks
Should I export as .AVI or as MPEG-4? There's no 'xVid' option. Are MPEG-4 and xVid the same?
