    Hi,

I tried searching for the answer, but couldn't get a clear one-

I have a 20 minute, 720p, at 25fps, 1.1gb MP4 driving video- when I change the FPS to 250, my computer can't even play it.
Basically I'd like to change the video's speed by 10x and turn it into to a 2 minute, 720p, 25-30fps video while still being able to play and post online(meaning, manageable size). Anything I try right now, just turns the video into a 5gb video or if I use compression, the two stage conversion(first to 250fps and then back to 25fps) really degrades the quality.

Sort of what I had in mind- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcnZePJj1bo

Any suggestions? Is there some setting or step I'm missing? Should I download anythings extra besides virtualdub?

I really appreciate it, thanks for the help!

In VirtualDub's Video->Frame rate dialog, set the following:
    - Source rate adjustment: Change frame rate to 250fps
    - Frame rate conversion: Decimate by 10
