  1. I am having a frustrating time watching Blu Ray discs on a Toshiba 32AV615DB TV from a Sony BDP-S370 player. Motion is noticeably jerky whether it's someone walking down a corridor, a spaceship gliding through space, a car driving down a street - you name it, if it's movement the picture jerks. Static scenery in such scenes flickers too.

I have also tried the Blu Ray player through a Sony KDL26S3020U TV with the same result.

Firmware on the Blu Ray player is the latest version, I have tried switching off the 24 fps Cinema mode which the Blu Ray player offers, that didn't work.

Ths picture does not jerk when playing normal DVDs.

The only thing I wondered was whether it had anything to do with these TVs both being 1080i rather than the Blu Ray player's 1080p but people who know about such things tell me that it should make no difference.

    Any thoughts?
