    I have a video that has some text banners added to the video. When I convert it to MPEG2 the video, audio converts, but I do not get the banners in the converted MPG-2 file.

    How do I create an MPG2 file with all the text banners as part of the file conversion.

    If you save/export the movie project as DV again, then anything you added to the video should become part of the video in the exported output. Use that exported output as input for ffmpegX. Then ffmpegX should not be able to 'miss' your text banners.
