    Hi,
    I have tried to unlock my new DVD Player (Samsung BD C5500) according to the recommendation that I have found on this website ("Repeat"+ 2 + 9 + 3 + 3+ 4). However, for some reason, after several attempts, I was still unable to unlock it. Is there anyone who can give me another tip? BTW: I bought this device in the USA (Region 1) and I would like to release for all Region (#9).

    I haven't heard of any current Samsung or Sony players sold in the USA and Canada that can be unlocked.

    Unfortunately the best tip for you is "Don't buy Samsung or Sony if you want multi-region playback".
