I'm doing my first DVD on Premiere Pro CS5, so my workflow may appear too rookie-like.
Anyway - I got the source mpeg clips from the guy who filmed for my project. He recorded when I spoke on a separate mic (bug mic taped to my chest) and probably used the camera mic to pick up general sound.
When I import the mpeg in Premiere, the sound is separated - my voice is loud and clear in the left channel, and general audio comes out of right channel.
I would like to make my voice heard on both channels, so I've used "Clip - Breakout to Mono" option in Premiere. The result was two separate tracks, each one 48000 HZ compressed mono.
When I add my "voice" track in Mono Audio Track in the project timeline, the result is - sound coming on both channels.
Is this Premiere automatically sending my mono track to play on both L and R channels because of the Master Audio Channel being set to stereo?
Thanks for help

You can pan the mono track Left and Right if you want. All mono tracks will be centered by default.
