  1. Hi everyone,

I've just installed FMS on my dedicated server so I can use flowplayer to place 720p/1080p videos on my blog. In my case, I currently have a 4min .mkv container with .H264 video (in 1920x1080/1080p resolution and approximately 6900kbps of video bandwith @ 29.776fps) and AC3 audio.

Being too much of a noob for command line, I downloaded the SUPER FFMPEGgui. I tried using the FLV / SWF (Flash) output container with H.264/AVC video codec and AAC LC audio codec for the output file, but I cannot play the resulting video.

I selected NoChange in the video scale size, retained the 16:9 aspect ratio of the original file and selected 29.97 in Frame/Sec. Hi Quality, Stretch It and 48K Audio are checked.

Anyone knows what the mistake could be?

    Thank you!

    - 'Use of the H.264 and AAC compression formats in the FLV file format has some limitations and authors of Flash Player strongly encourage everyone to embrace the new standard F4V file format.'

I don't know what conversion programs support the F4V format, but you could always try converting your videos to MP4 containers instead.
