  1. I have one big mpg file all nicely created with my transitions and effects and so on.
All I want to do is make a DVD menu with a few links/chapters to different spots within the mpg file.
I have tried a quite a few of the open source tools on my linux box, but haven't found one yet that easily lets me add the chapter links to different HH:MM:SS areas in the file. Bombono came close but it kept giving me errors out every time I'd try to make the iso image. Most of the tools seem to want to make the chapters match up with the start of each mpg file. I hate Windows, but will go there if I have to... any suggestions?

If you go windows then dvdflick ... you provide the files ... set a few settings ... and let it rip.

Or in linux ... options include dvdstyler or tovid

  3. Thanks bjs. DVDstyler was the ticket, once I figured out where to put in the chapter timecodes on the title and then map my menu items to each chapter. I did try DVDflick, but never was able to figure out how to put in the custom time codes.
