  2. OMG, i gotta clear this up for EVERYBODY.

Do NOT encode to svcd then restream to vcd, its a waste of time and effort.

Just go straight to vcd to begin with and use the same settings.

IF u still insist on restreaming it from svcd to vcd, this is how i do it as told in a guide(i dont say how to do this exactly but i know how to)

After encoding, go to merge and cut, select mpeg-1 videocd non standard. Then run it.
NEVER demux and remux, it will throw it off sync.

Videocd non standard still runs on vcd compliant dvd players ONLY! does not work for vcd players.

    http://forum.vcdhelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=206094

all is now workin perfect i just get a bufferunderun error which is normal at the end of the run then i burnt the sample to cd and it played no problems in my sonydvp-ns400 dvd player so there must of been problems with those svcd samples on this web site now il have to get myself a full svcd film and try it :)

  4. LMAO, you are not reading what i put are u?

NEVER demux and remux an svcd when it comes to changing the header of a movie cuz u will make it go out of sync!!

Maybe your little couple minute sample clip didnt do anything, but when it comes to a movie, it will go out of sync bigger than crap.

Go ahead and use the other way, but dont complain when it messes up.
