Hi, trying my first dvd rips.
Been following sefys guides on this site, here's where I am at... All my tools are unzipped in the same folder (c:/program files/rip tools)
-I can rip the vobs no problem, put them in a folder on the desktop
-Use DVD2AVI 1.76 to do frameserving part - once again no apparant problems. The .d2v and .wav are sitting happily among my VOBs. One possible problem here may be that I cant get the vfapi tick to appear in dvd2avi->help menu. Not sure if this is relevent.
-So now comes the problem. I have put the VFP plugin for tmpenc in the same folder as tmpenc, run the install BAT file, but when I go to load in the .d2v into the video input box, I get 'file c:\windows\desktop\shrek\shrek.d2v can not open or is not supported'
I've tried reinstalling, the whole hog.. no luck.
Any ideas????

Had a look round the registry, found that vfapi for dvd2avi was pointing to the wrong location. quick registry edit and we're away!
