I've been trying to mask some videos in Adobe after effects. Doing some testing, found that when rendering, the output video is of very poor quality. There are what I believe are dropped frames. The video is very jerky. The issue is that some years ago I had done it and the videos looked perfect. Now, getting back into the process, I can't find a way to get the same quality products I usad to get. The original video is mpeg. Any idea?
Thanks

From that detail ? No.
What format are you rendering to ?
What are you testing the playback on ?
Your computer specs in your profile indicate a very old, under powered machine. Playback of newer codecs or high resolution would most likely cause it to struggle and produce less than smooth playback.Read my blog here.
