Black screen when converting with TmpgENC

Well i am kinda new to this and i have run into trouble. I have done the enitre divx - vcd process before with out much of a problem. But now i am trying to convert spiderman from avi to vcd. I follow all your steps on the all in one guide here and when i finally get to the part when i hit start and it begins, i get a black screen and audio. I can hear it all fine but no picture. So i then assumed it was not Divx and i needed to convert it from avi to divx. but that won't work using virtualdub. so now i need help and i hope you guys can help me. thanx

I hade the same problem when I increased the Directshow Multimedia priority. Try to change it to a lower value.
