i have a folder that has a DivX movie and the subtitle. my question is. Is there a program that would allow me to convert the to whatever but with the subtitle included. i have tried convertextodvd, but it doesn't work or i just don't know how to do it. I would love to end up with a DivX with the subtitle already included. thanks.

  2. You want to burn the subs into the video? If so, you can use AutoGK for the job. Baldrick has a short guide:

    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/256625-How-to-add-permanent-subtitles-with-AutoGK-a...I-DivX-or-XviD

That's for creating another DivX AVI. It won't create a DVD for you as (apparently) you tried to do with ConvertXToDVD. If that's what you want, to convert the AVI to DVD with selectable subtitles, then maybe try AVS2DVD.

You might also try AVIAddXSubs, too, depending on the type of subtitles you want and have.

  5. ConvertXtoDVD and AVStoDVD were successful for .srt subtitles.
