i have a folder that has a DivX movie and the subtitle. my question is. Is there a program that would allow me to convert the to whatever but with the subtitle included. i have tried convertextodvd, but it doesn't work or i just don't know how to do it. I would love to end up with a DivX with the subtitle already included. thanks.

You want to burn the subs into the video? If so, you can use AutoGK for the job. Baldrick has a short guide:
https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/256625-How-to-add-permanent-subtitles-with-AutoGK-a...I-DivX-or-XviD
That's for creating another DivX AVI. It won't create a DVD for you as (apparently) you tried to do with ConvertXToDVD. If that's what you want, to convert the AVI to DVD with selectable subtitles, then maybe try AVS2DVD. -
You might also try AVIAddXSubs, too, depending on the type of subtitles you want and have.
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
